Christmas Card Challenge

This is my second post today...if you are looking for my CASology & SSS Wednesday Challenge post, please check HERE :)

Hello there blog friends ~
Do you need a little inspiration to make last minute Christmas Cards? Well, Kylie Purtell (owner of Addicted to Stamps and More & Addicted to CAS) is having a Christmas Card Challenge on HER BLOG beginning today! The challenge will run from December 1st at 9am (AEST) until the December 21st at 6pm (AEST). The prize will be a Watermark and Signature created by Kylie valued at $40 U.S.!!!

For my card, I stamped and die cut the ornaments in 3 pastel colors, die cut the greeting in slate gray, and added the patterned paper to the bottom of the card. The bows and faux hangers were stamped in silver shadow ink, and I placed clear gems to the centers of the ornaments... and that was it!

A quick note: You may have noticed that I recently changed my Watermark and Signature...well, Kylie is the artist who created them! If you are interested in purchasing one or both for yourself, please check out Her Blog, and in the upper right-hand corner, you will see her contact information. All designs are customized, reasonably priced and gorgeous!

Good luck if you decide to join in the challenge! Thanks so much for stopping by  ~

CASology Challenge #123 - Eat; Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge - Anything Goes

Hi there blog friends,
I'm playing along again in this week's challenge at CASology, and the Cue Card is 'Eat'! Perfect for those of us in the U.S. who celebrated Thanksgiving this week! I searched in the Silhouette store and found this fun image of a chef, and created this card:

So, I die cut the chef and added the sentiment called Segoe Script from the internet. The scalloped border is from Mama Elephant Femme Frames, and the enamel dots are from Studio Calico.

The theme for this week's Wednesday challenge at Simon Says Stamp is 'Anything Goes', so I would like to submit this card there, as well.
Thanks so much for stopping by ~

CASology - Week 122

Hi there blog friends ~
I'm back with a quick post to share a card I created for this week's challenge at CASology. The cue card is 'Flag', so I used the banner shaped flag die from Mama Elephant Carnival Toppers set. Here is my card:

I stamped the image from So Breezy and the sentiment from Cross My Heart. I used just the scalloped die from Femme Frames and mounted it to a red card base. And, that was it...Don't ya just love all that white space?!

Muse Card Challenge #94

Hi everyone! Just a quick post from me today to share a card I created for the Muse Card Challenge. Marion Vagg created our Muse card for this week and as always, it's a 'Beauty'! Here is Marion's card:

And, here is my very literal take on Marion's card:

It's a little difficult to see the alphas in the die cut sentiment, so here is a close up:

I used a mix of Hero Arts shadow inks and SSS inks for the balloons, and white embossing powder for the sentiment. It's difficult to see on screen, but I used Hero Arts Silver ink for the balloon strings and my brandy new Mama Elephant 'Happy' die :)

So, that's it for me...Thanks so much for stopping by ~
