SSS Flickr Challenge; MFT Sketch Challenge

Hello there, blog friends ~
Today, I'm sharing two cards, so I'll keep the chatter to a minimum...

My first card is for the current SSS Flickr Challenge #48, and the theme is 'Stencil It' ~

I stenciled the waves with SSS Waves Stencil, and used a circle die to create a stencil for the sun. I used Copic markers on the life preserver, then added a touch of WOS to add some sparkle. The seagulls are from PTI Ahoy stamp set.

My 2nd card is for the MFT Sketch Challenge #287...
I'm getting in right under the wire, because I've had a lot of trouble photographing this card:

I added Wink of Stella, then Glossy Accents to the ice cream bar, which caused a lot of glare for the flash on my camera...so frustrating! Anyway, everything on this card is from MFT (Blueprints 13; Penguins in Paradise). I colored in all the images with Copic markers, and sponged the sun with shadow inks.

I would also like to add this card to Kathy's 30 Coloring Challenge ~ Day 1

So, that's it for me...I hope everyone's week is off to a great start! Thanks so much for stopping by,

Oh nautical cards are some of my all time favorites! Your first card is so beautiful with the stenciled waves and the white sailboat! The second one with that adorable little penguin at the beach is just adorable! Beautiful work on both of these Barb! And thanks for the link you left on my blog today! I love British too! I'll be checking that out! Happy week my friend!

Love both of these cards. Wonderful stenciling. Your beach scene is serene and fabulous. Love how you have scattered the birds, and who can resist a penguin under a palm tree?

Oh that nautical card is really nice!! It reminds me of the beach-peaceful and light. Your stenciled waves is fabulous. Your second card is adorable!! Really like the way you colored in the penguin!! Totally get the photo trouble. I am great at making cards but then uploading and editing is terrible!!

The blur of June and the rapidly passing July see me falling behind in visits yet again! Know that I adore your earlier cards: always a joy to see them in my Feedly! Starting here, thoroughly enchanted with your delightful duo! Your stenciled waves are perfect for your wee boat and buoy! Of course, I adore your penguin; such a cutie-pie! Your two suns: warm and inviting (we need some sunshine here...pouring rain, still!)....
