MFT 2017 World Cardmaking Day Challenges

 Hi there,
I'm back to share four cards I created for the WCMD challenges at MFT...since it's a photo heavy post, I will keep the chatter to a minimum :)

The theme for Challenge #1 is ROYGBIV

I created this card using MFT Big Balloons Stencil and thought it would be fun to use this shape instead of the usual round shape. I added glitter to the die cut sentiment and finished with the stitched frame from Blueprints 15.

The theme for Challenge #2 is DIE-NAMICS DESIGNS

I blended my ink to create an ombre effect and added Star Dust Stickles to add some sparkle to this card. Plain vellum for the champagne glasses and gold foil for the die cut sentiment...no stamping!

The theme for Challenge 3 is BY THE NUMBERS

The 'Free with $60.' 'Thank You' when I ordered the MFT September Card Kit was the pop-up numbers I used for this card...I used Blueprints 26 for the remainder of the elements on this card except for the patterned paper on the '40' which is from Tiny Hearts Brights.

The theme for Challenge #4 is MAKE & MAIL

It's hard for me to create 4 cards in 2 days (it sometimes takes me a few days to create one), but it helped to have the flowers and leaves already stamped and cut in my stash :) To keep it simple I added the soft polka dot vellum paper and a lovely sentiment from the Beautiful Blooms set.

I also stamped my envelope for mailing ~

As a 'thank you' to celebrate this years' anniversary at MFT, I received a really cute stamp set, so I chose one to use on my envelope.

That's it for me...I hope everyone had a great weekend and a really fun WCMD!

Please don't feel obligated to comment on each card...just saying 'Hello' is truly appreciated...Thanks! And, thank you so much for stopping by,

Smiling, Barb ... and guessing you already had these in the pipeline when I left my last comment :)! What a brilliant selection ... beautifully stencilled balloons, such great dimension ... the champagne is fabulous with all the sparkle and shine ... those popped up heart numbers are so sweet ... and I love that pretty posy of blooms against the scalloped edged dots, the colours are so calm and serene (and the envelope is sweet too)! What a wonderful WCMD you've had ... and so have we, seeing the lovelies you've created! Hugs, Anita :)

all wonderful cards, Barb - WCMD was just too overwhelming for me so i didn't do anything - like you - hard to come up with so many different designs in a short time.
