CAS Watercolor; CAS on Friday

Hi there ~
I've been MIA for the last 2 weeks getting ready for the holidays, but I love playing in challenges and couldn't resist joining in a few...

First up is a card for CAS Watercolor December Challenge for the theme 'Anything Goes'

For this 5" x 7" card, I used Peerless Watercolors (love how they blend) for the background and MFT Ski-Sons Greetings for the bear and sentiment. The stitched snow drifts are also by MFT and the splatters were created with Copic opaque white paint. Lastly, I colored the bear with Copic markers.

**************************************

My 2nd card is for this week's challenge at CAS on Friday for the theme 'Christmas'

Here, I used the mistletoe from MFT Grateful stamp set, Joy die and the ornament from Happy Pawlidays. I colored the ornament with Copic markers and added Pico Embellisher to give it some shine. The bow is from Clearly Besotted Stamps Ornamental Style set...and that was it!

I'll be back tomorrow to share a card for the next challenge at ATCAS...hope to see you then ~
Thanks so much for stopping by.,,I appreciate it very much and I always enjoy reading your comments!

That's such a sweet ski-ing bear, Barb ... doesn't he have just the loveliest sky to ski in! Love the simple purity of your second card ... a crisp image, a touch of shine and one of my favourite words ... beautiful! Hugs, Anita :)

Love that little mogul jumping bear. Barb. The ornament on the second card is perfectly shaded and shined.

I love both cards, Barb! The watercolored sky is fabulous. The white hills and the frame enhance the beautiful colors of the background. And how adorable the bear is!
The second card is CAS perfection. The gold die-cut sentiment, the green mistletoe, and the shiny red ornament - so festive and beautiful! Hideko

Two charming, festive delights, Barb! Your shiny ornament, hanging from the holly branch, brings me JOY! And your skiing bear, taking on the slopes, is pure delight! What a cutie-patootie! Your sky...oh my! Stunning! Love both!

Barb both so beautiful and fun as your cards always are. I haven't been by in too long and was just thinking about you today. I guess it's fate that you dropped by to see me today!
