Twofer Card Challenge #3

Hi there, crafty friends! It's time for another fabulous Twofer Card Challenge and this time, Darnell would like us to feature blossoms on our projects! The parameters also include using the exact same stamp or die on both cards, and to create 2 distinctly different designs for 2 different occasions.

I used MFT's Plentiful Petals for my blossoms and the All Smiles stamp set for the sentiments (except for the Altenew 'Treasure' sentiment).

I love a monochromatic card, so for my 'Thinking of You' card, I used a few of my new inks (gifted by a lovely friend) for the blooms and to create the gradient inking on the die cut sentiment.

For my 'Thank You' card, I stamped a large bloom from the same set, and added leaves and an old sparkly gem from my stash. I also used Stone Gray cardstock for the background and another stitched scallop edge.

I rarely create more than one card at a time, so I'm really enjoying this challenge. Plus, Darnell has a super talented DT with some great ideas to inspire us...Check it out Here!

That's it for me today...Wishing you all a fun and crafty weekend! Thanks so much for stopping by,

The awesome thing about this challenge is all the inspiration I get from the entries; the reverse of that is the hit my wallet takes when I buy all new goodies that I see on the entries! I love ALL the elements of your two fabulous designs, Barb, so I'm in trouble, lol!

The pretty pink ombre - even on the SMILE - is stunning with the black and white and it's such a happy color to lift someone's spirits! And I love the many wonderful details of your thank you card, especially the treasure sediment and how your aqua single blossom with the minty leaves and schparkly center makes the perfect boutonniere! Thank you so much for the sweet shoutout and playing along with us at Twofer Card Challenge #3!! Hugs, Darnell

Barb you are such a master of the ombre look. Each time I see one I think how fabulous. Love all those gorgeous pinks, and your teal bloom is set in a perfect design.

WOW ! Absolutely beautiful, Barb ! I love the happy first card with these lovely flowers in different shades of pink. I'm totally swooning over at your pink ombré on the Smile die cut, how did you manage it with Altenew inks ? They pop up so gorgeously over the black scalloped background ! Fabulous. A lovely twofer with the soft green flower over the soft grey background. Both with two beautiful CAS designs ! Love them. Thanks so much for sharing and for inspiring. x

Both lovely cards!! I love that Smile die! You used the perfect amount and color of pink. And the background on the 2nd card, is that the Wavy Coloring book background? These both look amazing!!

Two beautiful blossom cards Barb! Love the pretty in pink with the whole middle panel stamped with beautiful blooms. The Smile is so pretty done in the ombre technique. Love the single blossom of your second card ... such a pretty colour and the sparkly center is gorgeous. The gray stamping at the bottom really adds to the soft and dreamy look of the card. Thanks for playing along with us at Twofer Card Challenge! xx

You found a wonderful way to use that stamp, Barb. The ombre' pink is lovely set off by the black scalloped border. That gem makes a fabulous center for your pastel blossom.

Totally gorgeous cards! The pink monochromatic card is beautiful and I particularly love the sombre sentiment. And the angled panel on your second card adds such a fun look.

Fresh and so lovely, Barb ... both of them! The soft pinks are gorgeous ... I'm especially taken with the ombré treatment you gave that fabulous large sentiment ... wonderfully blended! The mint and grey colour combo is delicious ... that eye catching bloom (and centre) is beautiful against the subtle stamped background! Delighted you're enjoying our challenges ... thanks so much for playing along with us at Twofer! Hugs, Anita :)

Oh WOW!! These are stunning!! I love the soft, ombre effect on the first one with the pinks. The use of the charcoal against it makes it POP!! The second card is so soft and elegant. I love that gray and green together and the shiny bling to the center of the flower is a lovely detail!!
