CASology Challenge - Week 115

Hi everyone,
I hope you all had a really fun World Cardmaking Day! I'm back with a brief post to share a card I created for this week's Challenge at CASology. The Cue Card is 'Chocolate'...how fun is that! And, if you have a chance, stop by the blog and check out all the clever interpretations everyone has come up with! 

I don't have a lot of food stamps or dies, so I did a search with my Silhouette and found some really hilarious quotes...like this:


Since the quote was so long, I resisted adding any embellishments on to the card, which is 5 1/4 x 5 1/2. Thankfully, I have some old 6x6" envelopes, as I plan to send this to my sister (the chocoholic in the family)!

The only thing I did was replace the middle 'O' in Chocolate with a chocolate candy, also from Silhouette. I die cut the quote with Kraft and placed it on to a dark brown panel, then framed it out with a Kraft card base...and that was it!

Well, thanks for stopping by and putting up with my somewhat twisted sense of humor :)

    Oh I love that sentiment! So cute and funny! That's some fabulous and very detailed cutting there. My Silhouette hasn't been performing quite that nice lately. I think I need a new mat. I'l bet that took some time getting it all glued down just right! Anyway it turned out wonderful! ((Hugs my friend ))
