CAS Mix Up - Challenge #2; SSS Flickr Challenge #42

Hi there ~ I'm playing along again at the April CAS Mix Up Challenge

As you can see, the theme for this month is Stamping, Stenciling and our choice...I chose Watercoloring. Here is my card:

I created the background with Peerless Watercolors, and used embossing paste for the frond stencil, then embossed the sentiment with Liquid Platinum embossing powder. The gems are actually round Rainstones from PTI, but the reflection from the sunlight caused them to look oval...I'll try to get a better pic tomorrow :)

I'm also sharing a card I created for the current SSS Flickr Challenge #42, and the theme is "Spring is in the Air". I love a spring wreath on my front door, so that's what inspired my card:

I embossed the sentiment with gold embossing powder, and watercolored the flowers and leaves. The wreath is SSS Chisholm Wreath, and the stitched/scalloped border is Mama Elephant's All Prettied Up die. A few gold sequins and a gem, and that's it!

Thank you so much for stopping by, and for leaving such lovely comments for me...I read each and every one, and it truly makes my day!
