Addicted to CAS Card Challenge #187

Hi there, blog friends! Today starts a new challenge at Addicted to CAS ~ I am hosting and I'm challenging everyone to create a card using the Code Word ‘One Layer’.

Our wonderful leader, Kylie, is taking a much-needed break, so this is our last challenge in 2020. After a 6 month holiday, we will return in January 2021 ~

What I love about one layer cards is the simplicity of the design...To color the Crocus Stencil, I used Distress Inks and Prismacolor Pencils, then sprayed Sheer Shimmer Spritz to add sparkle. I stamped the sentiment with Versafine ink and embossed it with clear EP.

We would love to see how the code word inspires you! If you would like to see inspiration from the Design Team, and play along with us, come on over and check out the ATCAS Blog ~

Thanks so much for stopping by,

Supplies:
Stamps: MFT - Brushstroke Expressions (retired)
Stencils: Pretty Pink Posh - Crocus
Misc: Tim Holtz Distress Inks; Imagine Sheer Shimmer Spritz; Prismacolor Pencils

  1. I love your corner crocus, Barb. I love the soft inking and the shading with the pencils. The sentiment is so crisp and looks beautiful with the softness of the image. Thanks for the code word - I always loves me a OLC!
