Hi there blog friends ~ It's time for a new challenge at Fusion and this time our prompt is ‘Mint’
I love mint green, but I don't have the proper ink colors, so I went with aqua. I decided to go with elements on the inspiration photo, namely the pretty feather in the top right corner. I started by embossing the feather die, then lining up the stamp using 3 shades of ink to create an ombre' effect, like the yarn at the bottom of the photo. To add texture, I embossed the sentiment and accents on the feather with gold EP. Here is a close-up of the impression that was created by dry embossing the feather ~

This is spectacular, Barb! I couldn't believe when I open your post. I've spent the last two days making 18 different designs using this feather from back in the day! Talk about great minds! It's such a pretty feather and I haven't used it for so many years. I have to say, I wish I'd seen this before I put all my stuff away. It never occurred to me to gold-emboss the dots over the feather and I'm in love with it!! Hugs, Darnell
