Today, I have a tag and a card. Inspiration for the current challenge at Tag You're It comes from the incredibly talented DT member Karin Akesdotter, who created this gorgeous tag:
And, here is my take on her tag:
Recently, I bought the MFT Small Brick Wall stencil, so for my tag, I inked Soft Stone cardstock with Hero Arts Soft Granite Shadow Ink to create a subtle background. I also inked water color paper with Peerless Water Colors, which were a gift from my Blog Friend, Betty (thanks, Betty!) for the dragonfly, and added some Wink of Stella clear glitter to give it some shimmer. I added the sprig, a sentiment, and some Doodlebug Twine.

I created my next card for the new Simon Says Stamp Flickr Challenge! Barb Engler is our 'Hostess with the Mostest', and she has presented us with a color inspiration:
This is my second entry, and for this card I used my brand new SSS dies. Here is my card:
I used all the colors from the inspiration photo, except for grey, which I substituted with silver foil cardstock. I colored each of the presents with Copics (looks a little splotchy on my screen), and die cut the foil cardstock to serve as an outline for the bows. Also, I die cut the sentiment twice and stacked them to add dimension to the card.
So, that's it for me! I hope everyone is having a great week ~
Barb
