Happy Birthday, Sandie!

Hello there blog friends,
Before I begin this post, I just want to say "Thank You" to everyone for your thoughts and prayers as well as notes, cards and emails expressing your condolences for my loss. 
For those who may not be aware...Last Saturday, my step-father passed away, and as you can imagine, it's been a difficult and busy week for me. This is why I was unable to visit your blog or Flickr posts over the past several days, but as of today, I promise to get caught up!
Thank you all again, for your love and support!

 On the lighter side...Today is a special day for a very special someone! My sweet, talented and lovely teammate (Addicted to Stamps & More), Sandie from London Days is celebrating her birthday, and Kylie has organized a Surprise Linky Party on her Blog!




Happy, Happy Birthday to you, Sandie! I hope you are having a fun day celebrating with family and friends, and I hope all of your birthday wishes come true! 



Here is my card ~


 
 I used the Simon Says Stamp Balloon and Pattern stencil with hand drawn strings and bows. The die cut sentiment is from Mama Elephant and the stamped sentiment is from Winnie & Walter.

    Sending more hugs of comfort and strength as you deal with the aftermath of your loss; no rush to get back into the swing of things...take time to take care of YOU! Your balloons are pure delights...love the way you've dimension-sponged them! I don't think I have any balloon stamps...need to remedy that! A most happy Happy Birthday card, my friend!
