Addicted to Stamps Challenge #150 - Photo Inspiration

Hi everyone ~ This is my 2nd post today...if you're looking for my Guest Designer post for CASology, please go HERE.

It's time for a new challenge at Addicted to Stamps, and we have this fabulous photo to inspire you! Our sponsor for this week's challenge is Sweet Shop Stamps, and they are offering 4 digi's to the winner! Here is my card:

I knew I wanted to create a card using the pretty shade of green in the photo, but my water coloring skills are not that great...so, I used Cracked Pistachio distress ink, making it lighter as I went along to create an ombre effect. My card design was inspired by Anita's Post HERE, while she was "Leading Lady" for the Winnie & Walter Blog. In the Act 2 section of her post, she created 3 cards white on white with a touch of color...Divine!!! So, I used the PTI Hugs dies and a few gems for a little color.

I hope you'll check out the ATSM Challenge Blog this week and play along with us! Have a great week, and thanks so much for stopping by,

  23. Personally I would have a tough time with these shades of green, but you made it worked Barb! And it stands out so beautifully!!

Btw thanks for the lovely comments you left on my blog, I just want to clarify that the tree on the Owl grad card was not stamped, it's a designer paper from Studio Calico/Hero Arts Collection dated a few years. :)
