Muse Card Challenge #128

Hello there blog friends ~
A quick post from me to share a card I created for this week's challenge at Muse. The super sweet and uber talented Michele Ferguson created this awesome card for us:

I love how she placed her vellum balloon and long swirly balloon string on to a embossed card base and her use of a bold color on her die cut sentiment...WOW! Here is my very literal interpretation of Michele's card:

It's difficult to see the texture on the embossed panel, so here is a close-up:

I used PTI's Linen/Canvas Impression Plate on the white panel and vellum for the balloon and string. I also wanted a bold sentiment, so I used DCWV 'Brights' for the die cut word and Versafine ink embossed with clear EP for the stamped sentiment. Added a few enamel dots, and that was it!

Thanks so much for stopping by ~

  23. Love your take on Michele's card. You know... your balloon totally fooled me, my first thought was that you coated with GA, due to the shadows and the missing piece on top :).
