Twelve Days of Christmas Cards Challenge

Hello there, blog friends ~ To get everyone into the spirit of the holidays, Kylie Purtell is hosting the 'Twelve Days of Christmas Cards Challenge'! Kylie has invited several designers for inspiration, and she would love to have you play along with us!

One of my favorite stamps and dies to play with this year is the MFT 'Jingle All the Way' set...so many cute images to color, and today I'm playing with Santa and the Pup ~

I started by inking the stencil with SSS Smoke ink, then stamped and colored the images with Copic markers. I embossed the sentiment with white EP on black and added a few silver gems for sparkle. I also added a silver jingle bell to the dog collar for fun :)

Giving Thanks Blog Hop!

Hello everyone ~

I am so honored to represent Addicted to CAS in the 2nd 'Giving Thanks Blog Hop & Linky Party' hosted by Shery Russ at STAMPlorations! Shery was incredibly generous by sending stamps, dies and stencils for us to play with, so I used all three on this card:

For this card, I colored embossing paste, applied it to the stencil and watercolored the 'Thankful' die cut. Autumn colors and lots of texture made it perfect for the theme...To express our gratitude!

Here is my 2nd card:

For this card, I wanted to add dimension with inlaid die cuts, which I did on the sentiment. I used Prismacolor pencils for the basket and apples, and added some Glossy Accents to make them shine. It's hard to see the alphas on screen, so I have included a close up ~

Addicted to Stamps & More #194 - CAS

Hello there, blog friends ~

Here is my card:

I'm really enjoying my new Reverse Confetti dies, so for this card, I created an ombre effect with Distress Inks, and colored this sweet little girl with Copic markers. After I stamped the sentiment strip, I thought it ‘needed something’...so, out came my embossing paste and diagonal stripes stencil. A few small silver sequins, and it was done and dusted :)
