Sending Warm Blessings

Hi there, blog friends ~ Welcome back! I hope you all had a nice holiday with family and friends, and that 2022 is filled with good times and good health!
It’s time for the January challenge at CAS Christmas. Our Hostess is Julia and she has chosen ‘Silver & Gold’ for our prompt. Our Guest Designer is Lisa.

I started by die-cutting the wreath twice in each color then stacked them beginning with gold and ending with silver. The berries were cut with red foil cardstock for a pop of color and I used gold EP for the greeting...that was it!

We hope you’ll stop by the Challenge Blog and check out all the beautiful Christmas cards by our DT and Guest Designer...The challenge ends on the 24th, so you have plenty of time to play along with us. It’s a great way to add some beautiful cards to your Christmas card stash! I hope to see you there ~

Thanks so much for stopping by,

Addicted to CAS Challenge #112

 Hello there, blog friends!
It's time for another challenge at Addicted to CAS! Bobby is our Hostess, and she has chosen the Code Word 'Graduation'!

My step-granddaughter, Erica, graduated from college a few weeks ago, and I created this card for her ~

I started by inking a small background sky and stamping the sentiment with Versamark and Liquid Platinum EP. The silhouette of the graduate was cut with my Cameo and the silver stars are from Pretty Pink Posh. Erica loves all things 'sparkly', so I thought it would be fun to add the clear glitter c/s along the side. By the way, Erica graduated Summa cum laude, and we couldn't be prouder of her! She is also starting grad school in the fall ~ So exciting!

Addicted to CAS is such a fun challenge, and we would love to see you there! The winner of this challenge will receive a GC from Create a Smile Stamps! Also, Chrissie Stokes is our special Guest Designer and she has created a gorgeous card to inspire everyone!
Thanks so much for stopping by and a special thanks for your comments ~

Addicted to CAS Challenge #111

Hi everyone! Firstly, I would like to wish all the moms a very Happy Mother's Day weekend!

It's time for a new challenge at Addicted to CAS and our Code Word is 'Pink'!

Ellenor is our Hostess for this challenge and we have a super talented Guest Designer joining us ~
Also, our Sponsor is Happy Little Stampers and they are offering a $15. GC to the store for the winner!

I love the color pink so it was a joy to create my card ~

I used my new MFT butterfly stamps and dies by first stamping it with Versafine Onyx Black then adding a coat of clear EP for shine. I also added a few sparkly Doodlebug enamel dots, which look really pretty IRL.

I hope you'll stop by the ATCAS Challenge Blog to check out all the beautiful cards by my teamies and our Guest Designer...we would love to have you play along, too!

Thanks so much for stopping by and a special thanks for your comments ~

Guest Designer Post for CASology Challenge #152

Hi everyone,
After winning last week's challenge, I am very excited to be a Guest Designer this week at CASology! The theme is 'Nautical'...Here is my card:

Of course I couldn't wait to play with my new PTI stamps and dies from their latest release called 'Ahoy'! I created a mask with a circle die and inked the wave pattern, then sponged the sky with SSS Sea Glass ink. I wanted the rope to look more genuine, but thought it would be one too many colors, so I kept it white and die cut the anchor with silver cardstock. I added a few seagulls and this great sentiment (love the font), and that was it!

I would like to thank Joyce for selecting my card for the win, and Melissa and the CASology team for asking me to be the Guest Designer this week...I am truly honored!

I have another post going live later on this evening, so feel free to stop back and say hello :)
Have a great week ~

Sending Hugs

Hi everyone,
I have a card to share that I created for this week's challenge at CAS(E) This Sketch:

I was really inspired by the doily Donna Mikasa used on her card, but for this card I wanted a mostly monochromatic color palette. So, I decided to go with my MFT Doily die in a soft green Linen cardstock, and cut the Hugs die with glitter cardstock (love the sparkle) one shade darker. The border was created with the same linen cardstock in the darkest green and the pink hearts are from the Mama Elephant Confetti die. Lastly, I added Glossy Accents to the hearts, but forgot to list it below.

Here is a close-up of the sparkle on the die cut sentiment:

So, that's it for me...Thanks for stopping by,
