Addicted to CAS Challenge #109

Hi everyone! It's time for a new challenge at Addicted to CAS and our Code Word is 'Rainbow'!

We have a super talented Guest Designer and I'm willing to bet you already know her...Rahmat
Also, our generous Sponsor is Create a Smile and they are offering a GC to their store for the winner!

I have 2 cards to share for this challenge...here is my first card ~

I used an older Pretty Pink Posh set for the umbrellas and sentiment and added clouds with MFT stitched cloud die. A few clear sequins and a stitched mat and that was it!

And, my 2nd card:

For this card, I blended some distress inks in rainbow order and after die cutting the butterfly, I added a few coats of Versmark and clear embossing powder to create a high shine. I'm really loving these new Confetti sequins...they have a mirror-like effect, and look really pretty on a card.
I am also entering my 2nd card in to the current challenge at Freshly Made Sketches.

I hope you'll stop by the ATCAS Challenge Blog to check out all the beautiful cards by my teamies and Guest Designer, and that you'll consider playing along with us ~

Happy Easter to those who celebrate! Thanks so much for stopping by,

MFT Sketch Challenge; CAS(E) This Sketch Challenge

Hi there,
I thought it would be fun to play along with the MFT Wednesday Sketch Challenge this week with some of my new goodies ~

I masked the background to create the sky and hills, colored the images with Zig Clean Color Markers, and added Glossy Accents to the balloon. Here is a close-up (darkened a little so you can see the details):

After seeing Chrissy Larson's awesome sketch this week, I also wanted to play along at CAS(E) This Sketch Challenge and created two cards:

For my first card, I played with three shades of gray, and on the darkest one, I stamped the fox with white pigment ink. I embossed the sentiment with white EP, and for contrast, I added a bold pink panel.

I recently bought Concord & 9th Layering Leaves dies, and wanted to create an autumn themed take on the sketch:

I used Peerless watercolors for the leaves, and stitched rectangles for the angled panels. I stacked the leaves to create dimension and added a natural jute bow.

Here are the lovely sketches I used for my inspiration:

As always, thanks so much for stopping by! Have a great week,
