CASology Challenge - Snow

Hi there blog friends ~ 
This is my 2nd post today...for my a2z post, please go here. 

The Cue Card this week at CASology is 'Snow', so how could I resist? So, I grabbed my inks and SSS Falling Snow Stencil and created this card:

I masked a section of my front panel and inked it with SSS Sea Glass and Audrey Blue, then added the snow flakes with embossing paste. I can't get enough of this Penguin set, so I colored him with Copics and placed him on the pond. Lastly, I stamped the sentiment, and that was it!

Addicted To Stamps - Challenge #126

Hi everyone,
Before I begin, I would like to say Happy Hanukkah to everyone who is celebrating the Festival of Lights tonight!

This week's challenge theme at Addicted to Stamps and More  is 'Anything goes with an optional twist' ... "Love"! Why love? Well, because our Teamie Marina is getting married and we are taking this opportunity to wish her (and her soon to be hubby, Max) a lifetime of love and happiness!

In person, it's easy to see the embossed sentiment, but on screen it's a bit more difficult, so here is a close-up:

 I used Mama Elephant Water Blooms and Bountiful Blessings stamp sets with several Hero Arts Shadow Inks.

Challenge Cards

Hi everyone,
A quick post from me today to share two cards I created for a few challenges. The first one is for Virginia's View current challenge and the theme is 'All Things Distressed'.

Here is my card:

Distressing on my cards is way out of my comfort zone, so I really had to work to create something successful for this challenge. I die cut the notebook paper, scrunched and tore it, then used distress markers to color the little girl. I used Mowed Lawn distress ink for the grass, and inked the edges with Iced Spruce.

My next card is for this week's Muse Challenge. Therese Calvird created this really cute card:

Here is my card:

I can't get enough of these Mama Elephant cutie pies! So, I inked the SSS Ledger Drop Stencil with Hero Arts Soft Granite ink on the card base, and inked the background of the Polaroid with SSS Sea Glass and Audrey Blue inks. Then, I used Pearlescent Embossing Paste with SSS Tiny Dots stencil, stamped the sentiment, and added the silver star sequins. That was it!
