CASology Week #205; Muse Card Challenge #173

Hello again,
Happy Sunday, everyone! I'm back to post two cards for a few challenges before they close...

The first is for CASology, and the Cue Card this week is 'Chevron' ~

I started by sponging PTI Soft Stone ink on the SSS chevron pattern stencil (retired), split the panel and added the lavender cardstock. I used a small scrap of watercolored cardstock from my stash to die cut the mini flowers and leaves, then die cut the sentiment with an old piece of gray cardstock. A few mini pearls and a touch of Wink of Stella to the flowers and leaves, and that was it!

****************
My 2nd card is for this week's challenge at Muse. Anita Bowden created this beautiful Silhouette card to inspire us:

Here is my take on her card:

I sponged the background with distress inks, and instead of stamping an image in black, I used my Cameo (Thanks to Hannelie for your help) to die cut this fairy. The trailing butterflies were in my stash, and the sentiment is from Lawn Fawn.

So, that's it for me...I hope everyone is having a great weekend! Thank you so much for stopping by and leaving a comment if you have time...I read and appreciate every one of them ~

Barb, both cards are darling. YOur soft chevrons are very appealing with the break on the card. Your fairy is so sweet in that lovely combination of soft colors. Beautifully blended.

That 'old gray cardstock' is just gorgeous for your die cut sentiment, Barb ... or anything else, in my book!!! Such a gorgeous choice to compliment that lovely lavender, and your fab chevrons!
We just watched 'Pan' another version of a fave childhood classic ... Tinkerbell is looking darling with her butterflies!

The lavender and green are so soft and pretty, Barb, and the tiny flowers are a great finishing touch. The inking on the fairy card is wonderful and I'm glad you got to use your Silhouette. I have the small version and have only used it once - and it didn't turn out that well.

I really like how you used your cameo for this too!! I have the original and do not utilize it as much as I should!! Really nice cards!!
