October Twofer Card Challenge #32

Hi there, blog friends! Before Darnell closes the doors, I'm adding a few cards to her October Twofer Card Challenge, which is one of my all-time favorite challenges...Once I have my supplies out, I enjoy using them to create a 2nd card, and she always has a great prompt :)
Here are the rules:

My first card is for a close family member who is going through a rough time right now.

I stamped the silhouette flowers with Versafine Onyx Black ink and embossed with clear EP. Lastly, I stenciled the grass, added a sentiment, and mounted the panel on a black card base...and that was it!

I love color blocking so for my 2nd card I used white EP on colored cardstock.

Once I cut the colored cardstock with my paper trimmer, I used my Corner Chomper on the opposite corners of each one. The 'Smile' die-cut is stacked with 3 layers of white cardstock to add dimension.

Here is the photo of both cards for the Twofer Challenge Blog:

I hope you are all safe and doing well! Thanks so much for stopping by,

CAS Christmas Challenge - Reminder

Hello, friends ~ Just a reminder that there is still time to link up your card for the October CAS Christmas Card Challenge. Christine is hosting this month and she has chosen ‘Christmas Birds’ for our prompt.

I started by using my new rectangle stencil (MFT) to create a soft blue background for the bird, which was die cut with white glitter cardstock. I used vellum for the twig and gold EP for the simple sentiment. Lastly, I placed the panel onto a 5x7 gold foil background...and that was it ~

My teammates have created some beautiful cards to inspire everyone ~ Come on over to the challenge blog to check them out, and play along with us if you like! You have until the 24th and it's a great way to add to your Christmas card stash!

'tis The Season!

Hi there blog friends ~
I was eager to use one of my newest stencils and thought it would be fun to play along with my 'CAS Sisters' for their 'Stencil/Tone on Tone Challenge at CAS Mix Up!

I started with a pale blue card and stenciled the ornaments in 3 shades of blue for the tone on tone theme. I used an old silver ink pad for the ornament tops and hangers then embossed the sentiment with silver EP. Lastly, I added a few clear droplets, and this card was done!

I hope everyone is doing well and staying healthy...2020 has definitely been the most challenging year in my memory! Take care and thanks so much for stopping by ~

October CAS Christmas Challenge

Hi there, blog friends! It’s time for the October challenge at CAS Christmas. Our Hostess is my super talented teamie Christine who has chosen ‘Christmas Birds’ for our prompt, and our Guest Designer is Anita from Stampin With Anita.

This is a 'new to me' stamp set by Penny Black. I fell in love with the adorable birds and was lucky enough to find them. I stamped then colored them with Copic markers and added a simple sentiment. I also used Flower Soft for the trim on their Santa hats and Stickles for the snow and pom-poms.

We hope you’ll stop by the Challenge Blog and check out all the beautiful Christmas cards by our DT and Guest Designer...the challenge ends on the 24th, so you have plenty of time to play along with us.....Christmas will be here soon, and this is a great way to add to your Christmas card stash!

Since this stamp set is new, I would like to share it with Darnell's NBUS Challenge #19
