Happy World Card Making Day!

Hi there! I hope you've been able to play along with all the blog hops and challenges going on for World Cardmaking Day ~ There are lots of fun prizes out there!

I've been working on my first card for the past few days for this week's CASology Challenge for the Cue Card ‘Grid’

I think this new MFT Bitty Bear set is my new favorite...I stamped and colored the bear and tree trunk with Copic markers and framed it out with the wonky frame which I die cut with Graphic Grid patterned paper. The hearts were created with Mama Elephant Confetti die and everything was placed on an MFT Blueprints 15 stitched base.

I'm joining in the World Cardmaking Day festivities with this card for the Simon Says Stamp Blog and for the SSS Flickr Challenge for the theme - Anything Goes:

For this card, I embossed the 'Believe' stamp and flowers in Gold and chose a few of my favorite pastels for the petals and leaves. Lastly, I added a few clear gems and MFT Blueprints 15 stitched rectangle for the base...and that was it!

Hello there blog friends! I'm back with my third and final post for the a2z Scrapbooking Blog Challenge in celebration of World Cardmaking Day! As I mentioned in my previous posts, a2z will be sponsoring 3 Challenges today...one at 8:00 am EST, one at 12:00 pm EST, and the last one at 5:00 pm EST. For this challenge, the theme is 'Anything but a Card'! You can make a tag, a mini album, a scrapbook page...whatever you like! I have posted a tag on the a2z Blog, and would like to share it with you here as well:

So, for my tag I stamped and die cut the butterfly from the 'Butterfly and Flower' stamp set, and colored it with Copic markers. I added a sentiment from the 'Things we Love' stamp set, a thin strip of glitter paper along the bottom, and some splatters with my Shimmer Spray. With a few gems and some twine, I was finished!

I know there are a lot of fun challenges and blog hops to celebrate World Cardmaking Day, and I hope everyone is having a great time! Welcome back for my second post for World Cardmaking Day! In my previous post I explained that a2z Scrapbooking will be sponsoring 3 Challenges...one at 8:00 am EST, one at 12:00 pm EST, and the last one at 5:00 pm EST. For this challenge, the theme is 'Anything Goes'! All we are asking is that you use a minimum of two Hero Arts stamps on your card. I have posted my example on the a2z Blog and would like to share it with you here as well:

For this card, I stamped the Tiny Flags background with Hero Arts Soft Granite ink, then stamped and colored the images with Copics. Lastly, I stamped the sentiment in black and add a few DIY enamel dots (two gray and one clear), and that was it!

The first challenge is based on an Inspiration Board, with some of the prettiest colors...silver, aqua and white! Here is the photo:

For this card, I used one of my all time favorite stamps (Hero Arts Large Open Flower), stamped onto an eggshell panel, and colored it with Copics. I stamped the sentiment with Versamark and Silver Embossing Powder, added a few gems and mounted it onto a pool card base.
