CASology Week #205; Muse Card Challenge #173

Hello again,
Happy Sunday, everyone! I'm back to post two cards for a few challenges before they close...

The first is for CASology, and the Cue Card this week is 'Chevron' ~

I started by sponging PTI Soft Stone ink on the SSS chevron pattern stencil (retired), split the panel and added the lavender cardstock. I used a small scrap of watercolored cardstock from my stash to die cut the mini flowers and leaves, then die cut the sentiment with an old piece of gray cardstock. A few mini pearls and a touch of Wink of Stella to the flowers and leaves, and that was it!

My 2nd card is for this week's challenge at Muse. Anita Bowden created this beautiful Silhouette card to inspire us:

Here is my take on her card:

I sponged the background with distress inks, and instead of stamping an image in black, I used my Cameo (Thanks to Hannelie for your help) to die cut this fairy. The trailing butterflies were in my stash, and the sentiment is from Lawn Fawn.

So, that's it for me...I hope everyone is having a great weekend! Thank you so much for stopping by and leaving a comment if you have time...I read and appreciate every one of them ~

Addicted to CAS Challenge #80

Hi there ~ It's time for another challenge at Addicted to CAS, and as our Hostess, Doni has chosen the Code Word 'Red'!
Our Sponsor is Happy Little Stampers, and Kylie (owner) is offering a $15.00 gift certificate to her fabulous online store!

We also have an amazing Guest Designer for this challenge ~ Ardyth Percy-Robb, and she has created a gorgeous card for us! Here is my card:

I recently bought this beautiful PTI stamp set called 'Graceful Greetings', and couldn't wait to use it! To create a little contrast to the red roses, I used a touch of aqua and green for accents. I also wanted to keep this card as CAS as possible, so there are no sequins or WOS...imagine that? Anyway, easy-peasy, and I'm very happy with how it turned out.

This is one of the cards that I am also sending to the Lasting Hearts Card Drive...if you would like more information or if you would like to participate in this wonderful Card Drive, please go to Jennifer McGuire's Blog

I hope you'll take a few minutes to check out the beautiful cards my team mates have created for the challenge, and play along with us this week at ATCAS ~ Have a great weekend,
