Fusion Card Challenge - Critter

Hi there blog friends ~ It's time for a new challenge at Fusion and this time our prompt is ‘Critter’. I decided to go with the sketch this time, and use the color palette from the inspiration photo.

This is the first time I've inked up this PTI set from Maile Belle's 'Stamping Simply' Series: Splits Collection. I stamped the image and colored it with Copic markers, and added clear EP to the sentiment. Lastly, I used yellow cardstock as a background for the Venise Lace border.

Don't forget the best thing about the Fusion Card Challenge is that you can choose between the sketch and the theme/inspiration photo, or both! My teamies have created some beautiful cards to inspire you, so feel free to stop by the challenge blog and play along with us!

Thanks so much for stopping by,

January CAS Stencil Challenge Reminder

Hi there ~ I've created a card to remind everyone that there is still plenty of time to play along with us at the CAS Stencil Challenge. Our Hostess is Nancy and our Guest Designer is Arlene (Sundaystamper Papercrafts).

I created this card using a brand new stencil from Clarity Stamps and distress inks. I also used one of my favorite stencils...mini cloud edges for the sky. I added a thin black border, stamped the sentiment, and mounted it to a 5 x 7 card base.

We are also celebrating our 1st Birthday as a card challenge and Loll is offering a $25. GC to SSS for the winner and also for a random draw from eligible entries! So, come on over to the CAS Stencil Challenge Blog, get inspired by my teamies and our GD, and join us...challenge closes on the 24th!

Fusion Card Challenge - 'Winter'

Hi there blog friends ~ It's time for a new challenge at Fusion and this time our prompt is ‘Winter’. Since I have a new stamp that works perfectly for the sketch, I decided to go with that...

I need a masculine graduation card and thought this color palette would work well. I flipped the sketch 90 degrees, embossed the starburst and sentiment in gold, and added a thin black border over the card base...Extremely CAS :)

Don't forget the best thing about the Fusion Card Challenge is that you can choose between the sketch and the theme/inspiration photo, or both! My teamies have created some beautiful cards to inspire you, so feel free to stop by the challenge blog and play along with us!

CAS Stencil Challenge

Hi there blog friends ~ Happy New Year to all!!!
It’s time for our first challenge of 2020 at CAS Stencil ~.Our Guest Designer is Arlene (Sunday Stamper Papercrafts) and our Hostess for January is Nancy, who has chosen ‘Use a New Stencil’ for our prompt.

My family is incredibly generous, especially at Christmas, so I like to send thank you cards...

I started by sponging the mini Christmas tree stencil with DOX inks, then smothered it with Glimmer Paste to add lots of sparkle and shine. The star was die cut with white glitter cardstock and the sentiment was embossed with silver embossing powder...and that was it!

Also, we are celebrating our first year as a challenge blog and having our 1st Birthday Party!

To thank everyone for celebrating with us, Loll is offering 2 prizes...
$25. GC to SSS for the winner and also for a random draw from eligible entries! So, come on over to the CAS Stencil Challenge Blog, get inspired by my teamies and our GD, and join us...challenge closes on the 24th.
