I created this card to welcome them after taking Laura Bassen's Craftsy Class and playing with the Rock n' Roll technique for these beautiful butterflies, which I received as a gift from my sweet blog friend, Sarah (Thank you again, Sarah)! If you're interested in learning more about creative color techniques, Laura is the 'Master' and her class is really fabulous!
A HUGE congratulations to each and every one of these talented ladies who are now part of the ATSM Design Team! I am personally very excited to begin working together and I would like to welcome you all to the team! I hope you enjoy it as much as I do!

Inspired by Challenges
Hello again ~
I have two cards to share today, inspired by this week's challenge at CASology, the current challenge at the Simon Says Stamp Flickr Group, and this week's challenge at Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge Blog.
Here is my first card:
I have two cards to share today, inspired by this week's challenge at CASology, the current challenge at the Simon Says Stamp Flickr Group, and this week's challenge at Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge Blog.
Here is my first card:
For the theme 'Light', I used an older stamp set by Technique Tuesday and colored this little guy to look as if he's on stage. I also included the shadow from Paper Smooches and added the sentiment and flower from Mama Elephant.

For my 2nd card, I realized that I didn't have any SSS products to create a card for a new baby, a new home, a new job, or a new marriage (time to shop - lol), so I went with the theme of 'new' year!
I used selective inking on a SSS sentiment set using Hero Arts Soft Granite, Studio Calico Clean Slate and Versafine Onyx Black inks. I wanted an ombre' effect on the glasses, so I used two shades of inks, inlaid the first die cut and stacked three more layers to add dimension. Lastly, I used a tone-on-tone diagonal pattern with a stencil for the border.
Well, that's it for me...thanks so much for stopping by ~

A really quick post today just to share a card I created for the current challenge at CAS(E) This Sketch:
This card is 5"x7". I die cut the Cityscape four times in black and three shades of gray to add some depth and dimension to this card, and I used pigment inks for the sky.
