CAS(E) This Sketch #142

Hi there ~

A really quick post today...I have a card to share for this week's challenge at CAS(E) This Sketch: 

I love this sketch by Leigh Penner...so, I used my Zig Clean Color markers (I colored the images and spritzed with water) for the flowers and leaves on this PTI 'Embellished Elegance' stamp set in fall colors. The stamped sentiment (SSS) is embossed in gold and I used gold foil cardstock for the die cut sentiment and butterflies...and that was it!

Addicted to Stamps Challenge #164

Hi there ~
It's time for another fun challenge at Addicted to Stamps, and this time our theme is CAS! I created 2 cards for this challenge...here is the first one:

I wanted to play with some of my new goodies, namely this cute SSS/Mama Elephant 'Skater Kids' stamp set and MFT die 'Cityscape - NYC'. I created a mask with the die, and partially inked it in 2 shades of blue to give it a far away, dreamy effect. The little skater bear was colored with Copics, then die cut and popped up with foam tape.

My super sweet and generous blog friend, Michele sent me several embossed panels to play with, and I thought this one would be perfect for my birthday card:

Here is a close up of the beautiful embossing on this front panel:

I die cut the Lil' Inkers balloons, and to keep it simple, I added vellum strings and a sentiment from Winnie & Walter...and that was it!

Addicted to CAS Challenge #73

Hi everyone,

It's time for a new challenge at Addicted to CAS. Our hostess is the incredibly talented Sweet Kobylkin, and she has chosen the code word 'Dream' for our inspiration. Scribbles Designs is our Sponsor, and they are offering three digital images for the winner. I've created 2 cards for this challenge:

  

For my first cad, I blended two shades of blue on the word dream to create an ombre effect, and thought this sweet little Mama Elephant cherub would look cute perched on top of the cloud. I also blended SSS Sea Glass ink behind both elements to add some depth to the design, and scattered the silver star sequins so it would look like a cloud in the sky.

For my 2nd card, I wanted to celebrate the beginning of my favorite season...Autumn ~

I used two of my PTI stamp sets for this card...For the sentiment, I used my MISTI, and inked the  'Daydreamer' set with Orange Zest and black, and stamped the blooms with 'Mum's the Word' in Harvest Gold and New Leaf. Lastly, I framed it out with Mega Mat Stacks 3 and added a few sparkly gems...and that was it! I hope there is enough white space on this card to be considered CAS :)
