Guest Designer CASology - Week #208

Hi there, blog friends ~

I feel so honored to share with you that I have been asked to be this week's Guest Designer at CASology, and the Cue Card is 'Journey'!

Here's my take on the challenge:

I sifted through every stamp set that I own, and could not find a sentiment with the word 'journey'. Since my printer is currently not working with my pc, I hope it's ok to use the word adventure :) 

I paired the Poppystamps sailboat with the PTI set, Ahoy and framed everything with the MFT Wonky Stitched Rectangles. I also added a touch of Wink of Stella to the waves to add some sparkle. 

The DT girls at CASology are incredibly talented, and have created some amazing cards for this challenge...hop on over and check it out!

Muse Card Challenge #175

Hi there ~
A quick post to share a card I created for this week's Muse Challenge. Jenni Murray is our Muse, and she created this beauty:

Here is my take on Jenni's card:

I love Jenni's square card base, and how she placed the round panel to allow the gray background to peek through...so pretty! I used her layout, and different colors for my flowers and leaves...pink and gray is one of my all time faves :) I used PTI Painted Flowers for the images, PTI Bloomers for the sentiment, and Lil' Inkers Round Stitched Circles. A few sequins for sparkle, and that was it!

Addicted to CAS - Challenge #93

Hi all,
It's time for another fun challenge at Addicted to CAS, and our Code Word is 'Welcome'! Our hostess is Bhavana, our our Guest Designer is Elaine!  

Here is my card:

I paired the PTI stamped sentiment with W&W home die, and thought it would be fun to add this sweet bird from PTI Make it Market Kit. The papers are also PTI Ombre Stripes.

CAS Mix Up, CASology, Kathy's 30 Day Color Challenge, Muse, SSS Flickr Group

Hi everyone,
I've been creating lots of cards in the last few days, so I am adding a few of them to some current challenges ~ My first card is for CASology #206 for the Cue Card ‘Art’ :

I created this card yesterday, but with overcast skies, I had to wait to photograph it...then, a few hours ago, I noticed that my blog friend, Karren J. posted her card, which is very similar...I sure hope she doesn't mind that I'm submitting this card :)
I used a splatter stencil from Stamplorations, added the brush from WPlus9, and a sentiment from PTI.

My next card is for three challenges - July CAS Mix Up - For the theme, Stamping, Markers, Your Choice (Die Cuts), Simon Says Stamp Flickr Challenge #49 'Come Color With Us', and Kathy’s 30 Day Color Challenge

And, here is my card:

I had a lot of fun making this card...I used stamps and dies from the 'You're So Sweet' set, and colored them with Zig markers. I added Glossy Accents to the cherries, watermelon and strawberry, and clear WOS to the apple and pear. I love the font on this sentiment, too!

Here is my take on Tracey's card:

I finally bought this die set, so when it came in the mail this week, I couldn't wait to play...I die cut the animals with Soft Stone cardstock, and added Gravel Gray, patterned paper and Copic markers for contrast and detail. I used SSS Sea Glass ink for the background, and added a tiny butterfly for a pop of color. And, that was it for me!
