CASology Week #214; Muse Challenge Week #182; SSS Flickr Challenge #53

Hi there, crafty friends ~

For the past few days, I've been busy in my craft room creating cards for a few challenges ~

My first card is for this week's CASology Challenge for the cue card: Beach

I've had this Lil'Inkers flip flop die for a while, so I thought it would be fun to use it for this challenge. I used distress inks to create the sand and water, and created the enamel dots with Nuvo Crystal Drops...Fun!

Anita Bowden created a beautiful birthday card for this week's challenge at Muse...here is my take on her card:

I used my new MFT big balloons stencil with pastel inks, just as she did. The camouflage die cut is from Mama Elephant, and the stamped 'happy' is SSS.

SSS Flickr Challenge this week is Anything Goes. Here is my card:

Another brand new goodie (too bad Darnell's challenge is closed)...I finally ordered this fabulous Jingle Snowflake die, so I used silver foil cardstock for the snowflakes and silver embossing powder on the stamped sentiment to jazz it up! Some soft ink blending in the background and a few sequins, and that was it :)

As always, I want to thank you so much for stopping by! Your sweet comments mean so much to me! Have a great week ahead ~

Addicted to CAS Challenge - "Harvest"

Hi there,
It's time for another fun challenge at Addicted to CAS! Our hostess is Ksenija, and she has chosen the Code Word 'Harvest'. As always, we have a very talented Guest Designer ~ Wendy Johnson, who created a really cute card to inspire everyone!

I couldn't wait to play with my 2nd stamp and die set created by my awesome blog friend, Kay Miller, so I used it on my first card:

My first ever fox stamp, and I think he's adorable! I also love the spray of leaves and beautiful blooms Kay added to this set ~ Lots of fun to play with, and I'm looking forward to using different color palettes, just like Kay did when she introduced 'Stylized Autumn' in This Post!

A few weeks ago, I bought another harvest/autumn stamp set from MFT, and created this card:

I used my favorite (Peerless) watercolors for the background, and spritzed some Perfect Pearls mixed with water to add texture. I used Copics and Prismacolor pencils to color the images, and a Mama Elephant stitched banner for the sentiment...and, that was it!

We would love for you to join us and submit a card for a chance to win a $12.00 gift card from A Day for Daisies!

As always, thank you so much for stopping by, and for leaving sweet comments...I appreciate it very much :)
