ATCAS #52 - Sketch and Happy 2nd Birthday

 Hi there blog friends,
One of my all-time favorite card challenges is Addicted to CAS, and this week happens to be their 2nd Birthday! So, before I share my card, I would like to say Happy, Happy Birthday to Kylie and her amazing team!

So, as you can see I went fairly literal in my interpretation of the sketch. Instead of paper or cardstock for the panel, I used my SSS Diagonal Stripe stencil and texture paste. I've had the PTI Circle Scribbles die for a while, so I used it for the first time on this card, and cut it in vellum. The penguin is from Mama Elephant and the sentiment is from SSS Big Holiday Wishes.

I chose this digital stamp from Eureka Stamps, and colored him with my Copic markers. I used Mama Elephant Femme Frames and Landscape Trio die cuts and mounted it onto a black card base. The sentiment and snowflakes are from Lawn Fawn. I also added Flower Soft to the snowy hill to give it texture and shine.

SSS Flickr Challenge #6 - Die Cuts; CASology - Festive; Muse - Christmas Tree

Hi everyone,
I'm playing along again in the current SSS Flickr Challenge, and the theme is 'Die Cuts'. I'm still working on my Christmas cards, so I grabbed my Layered Holiday Tree Set and created this card:

I die cut the tree onto the front panel and created an ombre with 3 different mint green inks (didn't realize I had so many). I die cut the star 3 times with gold foil paper and stacked them, stamped the sentiment with Versamark and gold embossing powder and added the sequins.
