Addicted to Stamps & More - Challenge #190

Hi there ~

It's time for a new challenge at Addicted to Stamps & More, and we have a beautiful inspiration photo! Our Sponsor is Happy Little Stampers, and Kylie (owner) is offering a $15.00 gift card to the store! Here is my card:

I just bought the dies to this set, and couldn't wait to have a play! I used the color combo from the inspiration photo, and added a few tiny butterflies. Lastly, I embossed the die cut sentiment with Liquid Platinum and placed white pearl gems on the flowers...and that was it! By the way, the pink cardstock and ink is one of the new PTI colors - Lovely Lady, and the leaves were inked with Mint Julep.

CASology Challenge Week 193 - Pink

Hi there ~
A quick post to share a card I created for this week's challenge at CASology for the Cue Card 'Pink'! Here is my card:

I love the font on this Mama Elephant die, and thought it would be fun to create an ombre effect in pink. I did a watercolor wash with Picked Raspberry until I got the result I was looking for. The stamped sentiment is from Altenew, and I embossed it with Super Fine Gold EP. To keep a feminine theme, I used a stitched/scalloped die cut for the front panel and a few small clear sequins. And, that was it ~

Addicted to CAS Challenge #86

Hi there, blog friends ~

It's time for another challenge at Addicted to CAS, and our Code Word is 'Rain'! Here are the details:

- Our hostess is the super talented Ceal

- Our generous sponsor is Stamplorations, and they are offering a $10.00 gift card to the winner

- Our guest designer is the incredibly sweet and talented Caroline Paton 

Here is my first card (sentiment was stamped on the inside):

The raindrops on this card were created with a stencil and embossing paste, and a touch of Wink of Stella for some sparkle. The flowers were stamped, die cut, and popped up for dimension.

I would also like to enter this card into the April CAS Mix Up Challenge...for 'my choice' I die cut the flowers and clouds.

I just received a few new goodies from Pretty Pink Posh, and couldn't wait to have a play...here is my 2nd card:

Couldn't resist that sweet birdie and all the fun umbrellas in this set...so, I masked and inked the background, and colored the bird with Copic markers. The raindrops were die cut with glitter paper using dies from Lawn Fawn 'Spring Showers'.
