Addicted to CAS Challenge #120

Hi there blog friends ~
It's time for another challenge at Addicted to CAS! Our Hostess for this challenge is Jaydee and she has chosen the code word for us:

Here is my card...

For my first card, I stamped and die cut my newest MFT set (Beautiful Blooms) and die cut the scalloped border with Lawn Fawn plaid papers. Lastly, I used Doodlebug Sprinkles for the center of the flowers.

I created a 2nd card, just because...

I stamped a panel using Lawn Fawn's Penelopes Blossoms then die cut the sentiment several times and stacked them to add dimension to my card. A few clear sequins and a stitched panel, and that was it ~

STAMPlorations is our sponsor and they are offering a $10 voucher to the store for the winner...we would love to have you join us!
Thanks so much for stopping by,

To answer Paperpretties question: To create the scalloped border on the first card, I used this MFT DIE (last one in the photo). Hope this helps!

two lovely cards Barb - especially like the CAS style of your "hello" and that pale pink plaid paper (how about that for alliteration!!) is perfect with the little flowers!

Wonderful cards, Barb. The plaid paper looks great with the flowers and the stacked 'Hello' is a beautiful CAS card.

Both of these cards are delightful Barb. I love the layout of the first one... I might have to CAS that myself! x Carolyn

You could always rock a flower Barb, I am totally loving the subtleness of the flowers on the die cut 'hello'!

Soft and so wonderfully pretty, Barb, both of them ... they're simply and perfectly gorgeous! I'm especially taken with the second ... those pastel blooms just visible amid all that white ... scrumptious! Hugs, Anita :)

How I've missed that plaid in pink is beyond my imagination ... it is the loveliest backdrop for your gorgeous blooms, Barb! I thought for sure this one would be heading to IBATLT... edit?
There isn't a person in the world who wouldn't welcome your gorgeous HELLO! hello GORGEOUS, is what I'm thinking! xx

Can you please tell what you used to create the "v" style border on the first card? I have always loved that look but somehow never knew how it was done. Thank you!
