Hello Everyone ~

Firstly, I want to thank everyone for your concern and sweet comments about my injury...my thumb is healing well, thank heaven!

I wasn’t thrilled with my first submission for this week’s challenge at Addicted to CAS, so I decided to take out my vellum, and play some more. Our  code word is 'Transparent’, so I used a technique I learned from Kristina Werner called Copic Vellum Gradient demonstrated in This Video
I also put score lines in the feathers, then colored a small piece of plain white cardstock to mimic the pattern and die cut the word “Be”.

Here is my card:

Supplies:
Stamps:Simon Says Stamp - ‘Be’ sentiments
Ink: Versafine - Smokey Gray
Cardstock: Neenah - Solar White
Dies: MFT - Feathers
Sequins: Gift from Bettijo

Until next time...take care, and thanks so much for stopping by!
Barb

The colors are stunning! Beautiful job, Barb! PS: when you link up the site, find the word "Link" (next to the picture on the left )when you make the post and you can link up from there. You click on "Link" (type the name/blog you want, the bottom one is for the actual link/site)...e-mail me if you don't understand.

Beautiful feathers Barb! I was going to help you with the 'link' but looks like Virginia has beaten me to it! Just type in the link work first (like 'here'), highlight the word with your mouse and click the link button to add the link, make sure the box for 'open this link to new window' is ticked.
