a2z Scrapbooking - Christmas Cards

Hi everyone!
Today is my turn to post for the DT at the a2z Scrapbooking Blog, and after perusing the a2z Store for some stamps and stencils, I’m ready to go!

I love white pigment ink on black cardstock, so my first card was made with sort of a chalkboard theme.  I stamped the tree with Unicorn White Pigment Ink, then stamped the sentiment with Versamark and Hero Arts White Embossing Powder (my favorite for a crisp, clean sentiment). I also took out my colored pencils and added some color to the flowers and holly leaves. I think this is a great card to reproduce...it’s festive, but not complicated.

The color is really subtle, so here is a close up:

My 2nd card is 5 x 7” and was made with my new Hero Arts Swirl Tree Stencil.

I know it’s difficult to see on screen, but it is very sparkly IRL! I mixed a little green ink with White Embossing Paste for the tree, and before it dried, I added clear glitter. My sentiment is stamped with Versamark and Liquid Platinum embossing powder.

Here's a close up of all that sparkle:

Love both of your festive Christmas trees, Barb. The first one, where you colored on the white embossing powder, is especially eye catching. I love the subtle colors.
