CAS(E) This Sketch #107; Simon Says Stamp

Hi everyone,
I have two cards to share with you...the first one is for this week's challenge at CAS(E) This Sketch. Here is my card:

I flipped the sketch, and stamped the cityscape and inked/blended the background with Sea Glass ink and Audrey Blue to create a soft ombre effect. Then, I added a thin border with turquoise foil cardstock and Wink of Stella clear glitter on the sentiment.

I also created a card for the current challenge at Simon Says Stamp Flickr Group for a 'Love' theme. Here is my card:

A few months ago, I won the Heart Blooms die from Judy during a Blog Candy Giveaway, and love it! I created a stencil with the die and inked the hearts, stems and leaves, then just added the sentiment and enamel dots. Barb Engler is our 'Hostess' for the SSS Flickr Challenges, and I know she would love to have you join us!

And, since this die and stamp set is exclusive to SSS, I would also like to enter this card in the SSS Wednesday Challenge for the theme 'Have a Heart'!

I hope you are all having a fun weekend ~ Thanks for stopping by,

Love both of these cards, Especially the second one--those hearts make striking petals on your die cut flowers.

I so love that heart blooms die...It is going to have to make it to my stash somehow...lol Fab cards Barb. I enjoy when someone uses a sketch in a less than literal way, I have a hard time doing that.
