Hello there ~ It's time for another challenge at Addicted to Stamps & More, and this time our theme is 'CAS'! Bugaboo Digi Stamps is sponsoring this challenge, and the winner will receive (7) digi stamps from their store!
I started by inking the sky background with SSS Sea Glass ink, and added some snowflakes with my Signo uni-ball pen. The village dies are also from SSS, and the snowy hills were hand cut to create my layered winter scene.

For my 2nd card, I wanted something bright and whimsical ~
So, I grabbed my trusty Mama Elephant penguins and placed them inside SSS Tri-Square die. I stamped and masked the hats, then stamped the penguins...then, of course I colored everything with Copic markers...so fun! The Clearly Besotted sentiment was a gift from a very sweet friend. I mimicked the angle of the tri-square dies with the first part of the sentiment. Lastly, I added a few sparkly sequins, and that was it!

When I saw this Gorgeous Card by Kay Miller, I knew I 'had' to get this die! Of course, I don't have her incredible water coloring skills, so I used my inks to blend a background for the flower and leaf.
My last card:
First, I used Hero Arts Mint Julep and a few distress inks for the background, and a sentiment from PTI's Graceful Greetings. Then, I removed the stem and one leaf, and placed the remaining leaf on the bottom left corner. A few Rain Stones to add some sparkle, and that was it! Clean and simple, in soft pastels...just the way I like it :)
This is our last challenge for the year, so I hope you'll be able to find the time to stop by the Addicted to Stamps & More Blog and play along with us. Of course, we'll be back in January ~

Three beautiful cards Barb. LOVE the sweet snowy village scene. The delicate shade of blue that you used for the sky is so lovely with the white elements. And your penguins are adorable!! They really pop off that red. And the flower ... wow, that is one amazing die-cut. Love the soft colours of your background. Great job Barb!! xx
Barb, three wonderful creations. I cant decide which I love more, the town and snow perfect, those little penguins so cute and the last with the flower die cut. You may not do watercolouring but your blending is totally eye catching. The colours you use, love love it.
