CAS(E) This Sketch Challenge #177

Hello again,
This week's sketch at CAS(E) This Sketch was created by Leigh Penner, and I just had to play along! Here is my card:

I started by blending Sea Glass ink over the top portion on the card, then used pre-stamped images from the PTI Make it Market Kit (Sunshine & Rainbows). Since the birds in this kit only face left, I had to flip the sketch. I tried to do the mirror stamping technique with the kit stamp, but it didn't turn out very well...So, I die cut the elements, stamped the greeting, and added a few clear sequins for sparkle.
Thanks so much for stopping by ~

Barb this is so adorable! I love the fabulous die cut clouds and the sweet tweet on the swing. Now finishing it off with the beautifully ombre sunshine die cut sentiment is so gorgeous! Well done my friend!

May I just tell you these are the sweetest little clouds? I LOve the bird on his swing - wouldn't that be a treat to swing from a cloud? -and you are SO right about those sweet little pre-stamped images, Barb!
Thank you so much for playing cards with CTS this week, Barb!! xx

Hi, Barb! I love this sweet little bird and your beautiful CAS design. Thanks for stopping by my blog to say "Hi" and "Bye"! Regarding your question: I have a Tamron SP 60 mm F/2 MACRO 1:1 lens which I use to shoot most of my cards. I shoot them outside for the natural light and sit them on a wall. I don't use any special setting, but try to get the card in very sharp focus. Then the background, which is usually the garden/wine hut in my yard and the surrounding bushes, have a Bokeh effect. My normal background is about 50 behind my card. I hope this helps! :)

This is too adorable. Love it and especially your sentiment. I must admit that I looked away any time that PTI kit was used, so this is the first time I've actually seen it in action, and I love it. Not looking seems to be the only way I can avoid shopping these days.
