CAS Mix Up - August; CASology Week #211 - Dream; Muse Card Challenge #179

Hi there blog friends! I've been off the grid for a few weeks...Our daughter and granddaughter were visiting from Florida, and I think they accidentally packed my mojo in their suitcases prior to leaving! For the past few days, I pushed myself to play with some NBUS with a few challenges in mind, so here we go ~

My first card is for the August CAS Mix Up Challenge, and the theme is 'stamping, sprays, and our choice'...here is my card:

I used a pre-mixed bottle of Perfect Pearls, and sprayed the Lawn Fawn stitched leaves to get a clear sparkle and shine, then added the Mama Elephant die cut sentiment (my choice) to ground the focal point. The stamped portion of the sentiment is from 2 different Winnie & Walter sets.

***************

My next card is for this week's challenge at CASology, and the Cue Card is 'Dream':

I love this Memory Box dream cloud die, and tried to create an ombre effect with my inks, but it's hard to see on screen. The cherub is from Mama Elephant, as are the tiny hearts, which I die cut with glitter cardstock...a sweet card!

***************

My last card is for this week's Muse Challenge. Jenni Murray created a really fun birthday card, and I went the 'literal route' using my new MFT candle dies ~

I die cut the candles on the front panel, and added PTI Ombre Stripes paper in pink. I colored the flames with Copics, and added clear Wink of Stella and Glossy Accents to give them a little sparkle and shine.

While I was MIA from blogging here, I tried to visit everyone's blog...if I missed you, I apologize, and I will try to get 'back on track' over the next few days :)

As always, thank you so much for stopping by...your sweet comments truly make me smile, and I appreciate it immensely!

Good to see Mr Mojo back, he can be a little wandering at times for sure. Love all that white space on the beautiful dream card, it so makes me so happy...

Hi Barb. Your mojo is definitely back. :) Three fantastic cards ... each one so unique and creative. LOVE the sprayed autumn leaves card. Was thinking today that it's time to start making some fall cards. They are my favourite after Christmas cards to make. :) The sweet cherub is adorable and what a cool die-cut cloud with the inlaid dream --- they are perfect together. And your stripes candles are fun! :) Thanks so much for sharing with us at CAS Mix Up! xx

If your mojo was missing, it's certainly back now! Three gorgeous cards - the autumn tones on your leaves card gives such a warm feel and, oh my gosh, that little cherub is just the cutest! I can definitely see the ombre in the sentiment. And your candle card is so clever - a great take on the Muse card.
