A quick post for me to share 2 cards I created for several challenges ~
First up, is my entry for the CAS Mix Up Challenge. I usually have my card posted earlier than this, but the challenge is to use the 'Marbling' technique, and I needed white (old fashioned) shaving cream :)
***************
My 2nd card is for three challenges: Muse Card Club #183, Virginia's View Challenge, and since I used Altenew flowers for this card, I am also adding it to the Altenew Ultimate Challenge Blog Hop.
Tracey McNeely created a gorgeous card this week for the Muse Challenge (see below), and I couldn't wait to play along! Of course, now I'm sliding in at the last minute :) I chickened out with the watercolor wash after ruining 2 other cards...but, I did add some fun pink and white splatters, which was perfect for Virginia's challenge...too bad I missed the deadline!
As always, thank you so much for stopping by, and for leaving sweet comments...I read and appreciate every one ~ Have a great week ahead,

Both are gorgeous,Barb! Love the vellum butterfly and the pink blooms are breathtaking!
two lovely cards, Barb - love the peachy pink in your butterfly card and your pink flowers are so pretty and the spatters work well - focuses on the flowers!
Love the pink flowers Barb, so beautifully coloured. :)
Beautiful! That Altenew set is one of my favourites! So glad you joined us at Muse this week, Barb!
I'd almost forgotten how sweet the marbling effect from shaving cream turns out; I'll have to head off to the dollar store and give this a go again. Your butterfly turned out beautifully, as did your sentiment! Your Muse card is absolutely stunning! LOVE the pink on white with the sweet little splatters. The gray base really makes your panel pop. So gorgeous!! Just love it! Bev
Two beautiful cards Barb. Your marbling turned out awesome!! So pretty with your layered butterfly and die-cut sentiment. Gorgeous CAS mixed media card! Thanks for sharing at CAS Mix Up!
And your second card is so lovely. Very delicate with the white embossing and soft pink watercolouring. The splatters are just perfect to add a little somethin' to the background.
Looks like you've been having lots of fun creating!! xx
Barb your cards are always so gorgeous! I just love those pretty soft pink Altenew blooms you used for Muse! Your splatters are perfect. Thank you so much for sharing with us at Muse this week!
So pretty! I really like that marbling! The flowers are so nicely colored! I admire that you can have all the white space. I can't do that & sometimes end up with too much.
Two beautiful cards! I still have yet to try the shaving cream technique, but the results are oh so gorgeous for your butterfly! And your take on Tracey's card is pretty and delicate.
Gorgeous cards, Barb!
Barb, your butterfly is stunning! Wasn't that fun? And your floating pink lotus blossoms are beautiful too! Lovely cards!
I love your pretty marbled butterfly and the marbling behind the die cut! Pretty colors! And your soft pink flowers are so pretty! Thanks so much for sharing with us at CAS Mix Up!

gorgeous cards Barb. Love the pink flowers on your second one. Such a pretty pink
So very stunning, Barb. I love that marbeling on your first card, and the fact that it only peeks out makes is even that more intriguing. Your second card is so beautiful--love your fantastic water coloring.
Your cards are so beautiful Barb. So pleased you entered your marbled butterfly card in our September CAS Mix Up Challenge. TFS Hugs, Nancy
I am so late getting around to peoples blogs, too many media things to do these days. I love both of these cards Barb, particularly the pink flowers wow, so soft and beautiful. Both are perfect.
Such pretty marbling with your shaving cream and ink combination; perfect for that pretty butterfly! And your flowers...oh my! Soft, delicate and perfectly shaded! Stunning!
