CAS Watercoloring March Challenge; The Flower Challenge

Hi all,
I know it's unusual for me, but this is my 2nd post today. For the Tag You're It Challenge post, please go Here.

I'm joining in 2 challenges...My first card is for the CAS Watercoloring March Challenge for the theme 'Spring'

I used my Zig Clean Color pens to color the SSS flowers, then embossed and die cut the PTI sentiment. I also added a pink sparkly Doodlebug gem to the center of the small bloom.

******************************

The current theme at The Flower Challenge is 'Anything Goes'  so I am playing along there as well with this card:

This PTI floral set comes with another layer to stamp color on to the flowers, but I decided to leave them open, and I like the effect. The sentiment is from a different set, which I thought worked well with this design...

So, that's it for me today. I hope everyone's weekend is off to a great start ~

Thanks so much for stopping by,

Two stunning cards Barb, love the stamp from the first card. Has been on my wish list for ever so long and now they have come out with the roses same stitched design, the temptation builds. I love the CAS design of both cards and the soft colours. Truly beautiful

I love these soft, spring flowers, Barb! They speak of love so that's a perfect sentiment! Love the open and brighter flowers of the second card too! Thanks so much for sharing these with us at CAS Watercolour!

Oh, these are both so feminine in the beautiful soft colours and the flowers on both are simply stunning, Barb!!!!! Your colouring on the first card is great and I love the idea to not add the second layer of stamping for the flowers on the second card!!!! The bright pink and turquoise matting of the stamped panels are so perfect to accentuate the soft flowers!!!! Wonderfully done!!!!!

Two stunning cards. Of course, you highlight one of the few PTI floral sets I don't have, and now I am super bummed about that.
