Hi there ~ A quick post today to share a few cards before these challenges close...First is a card I created for CASology for the cue card 'Gray'
I inked the die cut trees with several shades of gray to create a gradation of color, and added a sentiment and a few gems...easy peasy!
******************************************
This week's Muse is Tracey McNeely, and she created this beauty to inspire us:
And, my take on her card:
The sentiment was stamped and embossed with clear EP and the berries were made with Nuvo Drops.
I focused on Tracey's:
- Christmas theme
- Color palette
That's it for me today...if I am unable to post over the next several days, I would like to take a moment to wish everyone Happy Chanukah and Merry Christmas!

Barb, two beautiful cards...so clean and crisp and pretty! My favorite kind! I love the gardient gray trees, and that beautiful "believe" sentiment and holly sprig is so classy! Thanks for playing along at CASology...today and all year long! Best wishes for a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year, too!
The first card is so unexpected--beautiful use of ombre gray, Barb! The second one is so festive & gorgeous--love it! Wishing you & your family a lovely holiday season!
Barb love your grey tree Forrest and your lovely CAS Card for Muse. The scripty believe works beautifully with the holly. Thank you for sharing with us at Muse this week!
I love these, Barb! Your modern gray ombre trees are fabulous and your holly card is everything! I love the CASlicious design and the way the lilting lines of the sediment match the lines of the holly!!
Thank you so much for the beautiful Christmas card! It's nice to have a card I want to CASE right in my hot little hands!! Happy Christmas and Happy New Year hugs! Darnell
Two sweet cards, Barb! I love your use of gray, and then there's that gorgeous sentiment on the second card!
Both of these are wonderful Barb! You already know how much I adore grey, I always find it has such an elegance, and as for the CAS bold holly leaf, well that stole my heart! ps hope you have the most wonderful Christmas my friend x
Barb, your gray trees are spectacular, love this ombre showing. Your card for muse is perfectly inspired by Tracy. Lovely cards both.

Two cool beauties, Barb ... those grey trees are so stylish ... and I love the minimalist holly perfectly adorning that fabulous sentiment! Hugs, Anita :)
These are both very strong designs! Love the simplicity and the use of simple shapes and lots of clear space! Thanks for joining us at Muse this week, Barb!
Your card immediately jumped out at me, Barb - I was thrilled to choose it as our winner. :) Looking forward to having you as a guest designer! Happy holidays!
Two wonderful cards, Barb. I got that "believe" set last year and still haven't used it.
Barb... great cards... so love your interpretation of Tracey's Muse card.
Beautiful cards, Barb! I amazed at the many variations of gray in your trees, and that beautiful "believe" sentiment is well balanced by the holly and berries. Merry Christmas!
With the blur that was Christmas - and travels to see my mom, then coming home, then going back, coming home again and now preparing (as in frantically trying to get ahead with DT cards!) to go yet again (leaving Friday - even though I retired from teaching, I'm still eligible to mark diploma exams this January...yayyy), I've fallen woefully behind in commenting. Correcting that right now! Your grey forest is gradient gorgeous; your Believe card, striking! LOVE that single holly leaf and berries!
Hugs~c
