Hi there ~ It's time for another fun challenge at Addicted to CAS and Ceal has chosen a fabulous code word for everyone ~ Diamond!
Happy Little Stampers is our Sponsor, offering a $20.00 GC to the shop, and we have a super talented Guest Designer for this challenge...Carol G.
Several weeks ago, I bought the Altenew Cube Builder Stencil, which is a layered stencil of diamond shapes.
I started by sponging the diamonds to create a border, then inked the flower, stems and sentiment. I embossed the word 'always' and finished the card with a few clear sparkly sequins...and that was it!
I wasn't sure about this card, so I decided to re-create it in 'portrait' view, and I like it better:

That soft blue diamond really adds a nice element to your beautiful flower card, Barb.
I had only thought of a 'diamond' not of the shape, you are so very clever Barb and of course your card is divine!
Such a clever way to use the cue word! Your diamond strip works perfectly with the gorgeous bloom.
LOVE your stenciled border Barb. Very creative and so pretty in the bright blue. Gorgeous card ... love your watercoloured die-cut flower and sentiment. xx
what a clever way to use the cue word Barb. A delightful card
A wonderful take on the challenge, Barb. Love that feint stenciling - a very effective background for that lovely die cut sentiment. I love the colors, and I love that little embossed strip and the way it's cut on an angle. Looks fabulous.
The soft stenciling looks wonderful with the die cut coloring, Barb.
H Barb! I love the way your diamond border along the bottom anchors the design. You also have a great knack on where to place the sequins for the best effect.
Delicate and lovely, Barb ... the soft stencilling is such a gorgeous base for that oh so dainty die cut rose! Hugs, Anita :)
I love the soft tone on this card, so beautiful :)
