CASology Challenge - Summer

Hi there,
It's been ages since I played along at CASology, so when I saw this weeks' cue card, I grabbed some supplies and got busy ~

I've never gone sailing, even though I live within an hour of the beach, but it sure looks like fun! The next best thing for me is spending time in my craft room with some new stamps and dies, so that's what I did :)

I hope everyone is well and having a fun weekend ~ And, that my U.S. friends are having a meaningful and enjoyable Memorial Day weekend!

Thanks so much for stopping by,

Supplies:
Stamps: MFT - You Float My Boat
Dies: MFT - You Float My Boat, Stitched Mod Rectangle STAX
Stencil: Simon Says Stamp - Waves
Misc: MFT - Silver Cardstock; Altenew - Antique Silver Embossing Powder; Tim Holtz - Salty Ocean; Picket Fence - Life Changing Brushes

The craft room is almost as good as the water, although I've never been on a sailboat. Love this sweet sailboat and the anchor! Hope you've had a wonderful holiday!

Such beautiful detailing on this delightful little boat, Barb ... from the cute sails and portholes right down to that silver anchor and chain ... and it's bobbing about on some lovely gentle waves! If ever you get the chance to go sailing, do go, it's such a fun thing to do! Hugs, Anita :)

Love your sweet sailboat Barb and the embossed sentiment. ! We used to have a sailboat at our cottage when I was growing up, seems like a lifetime ago now but great memories! Now I am like you with the next best thing-lol!

I've been sailing but then the friends sold their boat. :( I love that silver anchor, Barb, and the way you made the waves. Perfect summer card.

When I first saw this card, I thought you'd stitched the rope - it looks so 3D. What a wonderful card and the silver is perfect!
