May CAS Stencil Challenge Reminder

Hi there ~
Today I’m sharing my reminder card for the CAS Stencil Challenge. Our theme is ‘Stenciling over a colored background’ and our hostess is Sue!
For my card, I decided to stencil with Smoke Gray ink on a Cement Gray panel.

I started by stenciling the skateboarder (Sarah's Funky Fossil Designs Shop) on a wonky stitched panel. I masked the image and added splatters with black and white watercolors, then placed the grout gray die cut sentiment.

I hope you’ll check out the Challenge Blog to see the beautiful reminder cards from our DT and our awesome Guest Designer, Michele Ferguson ~ We would love to have you join us in the challenge while you're there!

Thanks so much for stopping by,

Supplies:
Stencil: Funky Fossil Designs
Dies: MFT - Smile, Wonky Stitched Rectangles
Ink: SSS - Smoke; Pink Fresh Studios (black); Winsor & Newton (white); MFT - Cement Gray

What a fun design with your stenciled skateboarder jumping over your bold white sentiment Barb! Love the splatter over your gray background too - it adds more action to the scene! xx

How fun is this design Barb, my son loves anything skateboard related so this might be a stencil I need to get! The splatters are a great finishing touch!

Perfect masculine card, Barb! Putting the sentiment on an angle under the stenciled image is genius!
