Fusion Card Challenge - Dragonfly

Hi there blog friends ~ It's time for a new challenge at Fusion and this time our prompt is Dragonfly.

Yes, I know I didn't honor the dragonfly for my card, but I was eager to use my new Lighthouse die and when paired with the beach chair, they worked perfectly for the sketch. I started by stenciling the cloudy sky, then ink blended a few distress inks for the water. I used Kraft cardstock for the rocks and stamped a few seagulls for interest.

Don't forget the best thing about the Fusion Card Challenge is that you can choose between the sketch and the inspiration photo, or both! My teamies have created some amazing cards to inspire you, so feel free to stop by the challenge blog and play along with us!

Thanks so much for stopping by,

Supplies:
Stamps: Papertrey Ink - Ahoy (Sentiment and Seagulls)
Dies: Impression Obsession - Lighthouse Circle, Beach Chair; MFT - Wonky Stitched Circles
Inks: Tim Holtz - Distress Inks; Versafine Onyx Black

Gorgeous card Barb, and for those without dragon fly stamps or dies, its a reminder to play with the sketch.

Sweet! Love your new lighthouse die, Barb. Great colours to create a beautiful sunny day, scene. I would love to be sitting near the light house in one of those adirondack chairs, soaking up the sun and enjoying the water view. Ahhhhhh. xx
