SSS Flickr Challenge; Muse Card Challenge; Stamplorations

Hello there, crafty friends ~
I have a quick post to share 2 cards...One is for the current Simon Says Stamp Flickr Challenge (Fallin' for Fall) and the Muse Card Challenge #138, and the other for Stamplorations Fall Flowers Linky Party

Anita Bowden created this gorgeous card for this week's Muse Challenge:

I love everything about this card...The beautiful basket of flowers and polka dot background, and gorgeous sentiment. I didn't want to CASE Anita's card literally, so I decided to go with a Thanksgiving theme:

I used my new SSS Stitched Pumpkin dies and inked them and the Penny Black sentiment with Brusho's, then stamped the polka dot background with Avery Elle's Texture Tiles.

*****

How lucky can a girl get? Well, I was really lucky to receive this gorgeous stamp set called 'Friends and Flowers' from the creator, Deepti, and inked it up within hours! (Thank you again, Deepti) Here is my 2nd card:

I stamped the barrel and flowers with Archival ink, and colored them with Zig Clean Color Real Brush Pens. I mistakenly placed the panel onto the card base with foam tape, then realized that I didn't include the sentiment...I was afraid I wouldn't get a clean impression, so I stamped only the large portion of it...Yikes!

So, that's it for me...Thanks so much for stopping by,

Two beautiful cards. Love how you did the sentiment on the pumpkin card and the flower card is wonderful. I often forget to stamp sentiments before adding foam layers etc. know that dread too....

Two fab cards, Barb. I love the warm juicy colours you used on these. The stitched detail looks great and I love how colours just pop off the polka dots. Thanks so much for playing along at Muse this week, Anita xx

Both of your cards are just wonderful. Love that first one--especially how you used the polka dots and the ombre coloring of your sentiment. And, your second card is just the sweetest floral thank you around.
