CAS Stencil Challenge Reminder

Hello friends!  Just a reminder that there is still time to link up your card for the April CAS Stencil Card Challenge.  Cathy is hosting this month and she is challenging everyone to use ‘Gilding Flakes’ with your stencils. As always, there are several links to techniques over at CAS Stencil Blog for your inspiration.

I used my Copper Gilding Flakes for the birds and Copper Embossing Powder for the sentiment. Underneath the sentiment strip, I added another layer with Copper Foil Cardstock. A very simple card with a great message for someone who needs encouragement.

There's lots of Design Team inspiration over at CAS Stencil Blog - as well as from our talented Guest Designer, Mac (The Sweetest of Peas) ~ And, don't forget there are also a few links to video tutorials.

You have until the 24th to link up your card...I hope to see you there!

Thanks so much for stopping by,

Supplies:
Stamps: Clearly Besotted - Accent It

Stencils: Funky Fossil Designs - Birds in Flight

I never knew that gilding flakes could look like this.... not that I am saying that I 'need' them, but who knows what can happen in the future lol.

This is CAS-tastic, Barb! Another fab stencil. Copper is the one metallic colour I never think of using, but it’s beautiful.
