Hi there blog friends ~ It's time for a new challenge at Fusion and this time our prompt is ‘Butterfly’. For my card, I chose to go with the theme and color palette from the inspiration photo...
I die cut the butterflies and inked them (and the alphas) with Peacock Feathers DOX and mounted the panel onto a piece of silver foil cardstock. Photographing foil cardstock is such a challenge, which is why some of the circles look black and some look silver...they're all silver ~
Don't forget the best thing about the Fusion Card Challenge is that you can choose between the sketch and the theme/inspiration photo, or both! My teamies have created some beautiful cards to inspire you, so feel free to stop by the challenge blog and play along with us!
Thanks so much for stopping by,
Dies: Simon Says Stamp - Butterfly Shimmer; Waffle Flower - Cutaway Alpha dies
Misc: MFT - Silver Foil Cardstock; Tim Holtz - Peacock Feathers DOX
This is really beautiful, Barb.
Your trail of butterflies is so pretty! And yep foil is a pain to photograph!
Love the movement on this.
On the wings of love... happy sigh! So pretty, Barb!
Love the feeling of movement with these butterflies, Barb! Love the silver peeking through! The camera really doesn't like shine or sparkle!
So pretty with those butterflies and their lovely silver trail. Adorable card Barb! xx
And in my fave card making colour too! Love your CAS design and that fabulous swirl!
OMG is right. So pretty and wonderfully CAS. Love the colours especially the silver foil.
Lovely CAS design and love that sweet trail of butterflies!
What a delightful card, Barb! Love the details and motions~
Delicate and full of lovely movement, Barb ... the daintiness of the butterfly trail is perfect with the slender, tall alpha's! Hugs, Anita :)
Hi Barb! You inspired me to enter the current challenge and I want to thank you for your blog visits, too. Your card is so pretty with the butterfly trail--now I want that die!
