Hello crafty friends! Today starts a new challenge at Addicted to CAS ~ Vicki D. is our Hostess, and she is challenging everyone to create a card using the Code Word ‘Geometric’.
For my geometric shape, I chose my octagon dies and instead of creating a scenic sky for the background, I decided to use a tiny dots stencil with glimmer paste. The butterfly and sentiment are from the same MFT set.
We would love to see how the code word ‘Geometric’ inspires you! If you would like to see inspiration from the Design Team and play along with us, come on over and check out the ATCAS Blog ~ Hope to see you there!
Supplies:
Stamps: MFT - Spread Your Wings
Dies: MFT - Spread Your Wings, Linked Octagon Frames
Stencils: MFT - Mini Staggered Circles
Misc: Nuvo - Glimmer Paste (Moonstone)

How wonderful Barb, the balance of your design is perfect!
LOVE your card Barb! The inlaid geometric red frame is gorgeous with the embossing paste dotty background. And that butterfly ... so pretty! Great work, my friend! xx
That is so pretty Barb. That frame adds a lovely touch to Geometric.
so elegant Barb. It's stunning.
Awesome use of a geometric die! That red against the white= fabulous :)
That die is fantastic and really pops in red, Barb. Great card design that catches your attention.
What a pretty frame, Barb! I love the color and the matching butterfly! So pretty against the stenciled background!
Barb, I love that frame and your perfect little butterfly. I also love how you captured all that wonderful texture in the middle of the frame. Fabulous CAS card

Beautifully CAS and perfectly executed. The octagon is such a bold element but works wonderfully with the stenciling and the butterfly.
