CAS Christmas: August Challenge

Hi there, blog friends! It’s time for the August challenge at CAS Christmas. Our Hostess is Cathy and she has chosen ‘Decorations’ for our prompt. Our Guest Designer is Lucie from Lucie G Cards.

I thought it would be fun to color my trio of candles with Copic markers and add a layer of red cardstock behind the Nordic Frame. A red sentiment and a touch of Glossy Accents on the candle flames, and this card was done and dusted ~

We hope you’ll stop by the Challenge Blog and check out all the beautiful Christmas cards by our DT and Guest Designer...The challenge ends on the 24th, so you have plenty of time to play along with us...It’s a great way to add some beautiful cards to your Christmas card stash! I hope to see you there ~

Thanks so much for stopping by,

Supplies:
Stamps: Altenew - Warm Blessings
Dies: Memory Box - Little Candle Trio; The Greetery - Nordic Frames
Misc: Copic Markers; MFT - Cherry Crisp Ink; Glossy Accents

Barb, I love the gradient coloring you've done with your Copics on those beautiful candles! I admire that Nordic die every time I see it - it's a lovely way to add just a bit of color to a very CAS design... gorgeous!

I love how you've colored your die cut Barb - the candles look like they are really wax and dripping down the sides! So pretty with the red peeking out of the die cut edging as well! xx

Didn’t even think about candles being decorations, but it’s brilliant! Beautiful job colouring. Love the Nordic friend.

Love the idea of using candles for the Decorations theme - I always decorate my table with candles at Christmas but never thought of it as an option for the challenge. Love the frame you used with the little bits of red showing through.
