Hi there, blog friends ~ Today starts a new challenge at Addicted to CAS ~ Vicky H. is our Hostess, and she is challenging everyone to create a card using the Code Word ‘Leaf’.
So, I finally broke down and bought these beautiful leaf dies from Altenew. I used Silver Sparkle cardstock for alcohol inks for the large detailed leaf and Yupo paper for the others. I used Antique Silver embossing powder for the sentiment and a Wonky Stitched die for this front panel.
We would love to see how the code word ‘Leaf’ inspires you! If you would like to see inspiration from the Design Team and play along with us, come on over and check out the ATCAS Blog ~

I never noticed that leaf die, but I can see why you broke down and bought it. It’s gorgeous! Love the colour and how you’ve used featured it..
I love your card, Barb, and how you layered the dies. The tealy colors with silver is a favorite personal color combination. xoxo Fran
Barb, I love that you went with non-traditional colors for fall. The swirl behind that gorgeous leaf adds movement and texture and helps to anchor your leaf. Gorgeous

I have been trying to avoid buying these leaves and you are not helping with this gorgeous card :) Seriously, those leaves are so unique that I think I'll break down and get them too. Thanks for the inspiration and encouragement.
