Hello crafty friends! Today starts a new challenge at Addicted to CAS ~ Our Hostess is yours truly, and since Halloween is only a few shorts weeks away, I'm challenging everyone to create a card using the Code Word ‘Spooky’.
I've had this NBUS PTI spider web for a few years so I was happy to finally use it on a card. I started by using one side of a watercolor wash stencil to create the wonky border with Oxide inks. After I placed the web I added a few spiders and a die-cut sentiment and that was it ~ Of course I stamped a greeting inside, added a $20. bill and popped it in the mail to my granddaughter, Desi. She'll love it...the money, that is!
We would love to see how the code word ‘Spooky’ inspires you! If you would like to see inspiration from the Design Team, and play along with us, come on over and check out the ATCAS Blog ~
Supplies:
Dies: Papertrey Ink - Corner Adorner (August); SSS - BOO Word and Shadow
Stencils: MFT - Rectangle Watercolor Wash
Misc: Tim Holtz - Spiced Marmalade, Squeezed Lemonade Oxide Inks; Altenew - Deep Iris, Lavender Fields Inks

CAS and spooky. That's quite a combination and your did it perfectly, Barb. I love the ink blending behind the word and good for you for finally using that great web.
Love this ink-blended panel - so perfectly blended and such gorgeous colours. And I'm not a fan of spiders but this spider-web is pretty cool and really pops against the ink-blending.
ooh you can post me a card any time lol. ps I think she will like the card too lol.
This is a great Halloween design Barb! Love the fun spider web and the sentiment and your beautiful inking. Thanks for the laugh with your comment ‘she’ll love it - the money that is’! And thanks for the fun challenge choice :) Vicky
