CAS Christmas Card Challenge - Reminder

Hello friends ~ Just a reminder that there is still time to link up your card for the February CAS Christmas Card Challenge. Christine is hosting this month and she has chosen ‘Winter Scene’ for our prompt.

Another 5x7 Christmas card for a very special (and religious) person on my list :) Instead of using black for the silhouettes, I decided to use white so they would pop against the navy blue background. I splattered gold paint (like stars in the sky as opposed to snow) and used gold EP for the sentiment.

My teamies have created some beautiful cards to inspire everyone ~ Come on over to the challenge blog to check them out, and play along with us, if you like! You have until the 24th to submit your card! I hope to see you there ~

Thanks so much for stopping by,

Supplies:
Stamps: Sugar Pea Designs - Lost Without You
Dies: MFT - Nativity Silhouette; Mama Elephant - Slim Card Basics
Misc: MFT - Nightshift Blue Cardstock; Gansai Tambi - Starry Colors; Ranger - Super Fine Detail Gold EP

This is beautiful Barb! Love the white silhouette against that gorgeous, deep blue background. Adding gold to the sky for the stars makes this even more elegant. xx

This is gorgeous Barb ! I think I prefer your version of silhouette (white against dark paper), and your choice of navy blue card stock instead of black is even better. Lovely idea too the gold splatters for the stars. Absolutely divine ! Thanks for having me guest design with you all for this challenge !

So beautiful! As they say… this scene is the reason for the season. Love the navy blue/white colour combo. The gold splatters for stars is brilliant as not to confuse it for snow.
